서울음대 졸업 후, 미국 조지아대학(석사)과 아이오와대학(Ph.D)에서 공부하였다. 세계여성작곡가협회 국제콩쿨, Abendmusik;Lincoln 국제콩쿨, 동아콩쿨, 창악회콩쿨 등에 입상하였으며, 미국, 런던, 상트 페테르부르그를 비롯하여 ISCM-ACL세계음악제(홍콩), 히로시마 현대음악제, 국제여성음악제(북경), ISCM 세계음악제(시드니), Asian Music Festival(동경) 2013 아시아작곡가연맹음악제(싱가포르) 등지에서 작품이 발표되었다. '음악가들의 창작공간'초청 개인발표회(2010)를 가졌고, <첼로와 피아노를 위한 변주곡>이 2010 관객이 뽑은 친근한 한국의 현대음악으로 선정되었다. 주요작품으로 피아노를 위한 피아노와 무용수를 위한 <코다가 있는 발레연습>, 어린이를 위한 창작오페라 <소리마녀의 비밀상자> 그리고 대전시향 위촉작 <Variational Overture> for Orchestra 등이 있다. 2012년부터 문화예술전문지<클래시컬>에 "오이돈의 음악칼럼"을 써오고 있으며, <음악형식과 분석>(2018)을 출간하였다. 현재 호서대학교 교수로 재직 중이다. 
 
IeDonOh graduated from the College of Music, Seoul National University. She also received her master's degree from the University of Georgia and her Ph.D. in music composition from the University of Iowa, U.S.A. She won composition awards from several competitions such as the 4th International Composition Competition held by the International Women Composers' League;the Dong-A Music Competition and etc. Her works, including commissioned pieces, have been performed at many contemporary music festivals worldwide and her music was also invited to the ISCM-ACL World Music Days 2007 in Hong Kong and the 2008 Beijing International Congress on Women in Music by IAWM, the 2010 ISCM World New Music Days (Sydney), and many more. Also, her <Variations for Violoncello and Piano> was selected as a "friendly" contemporary music piece by audiences in 2010. Other important works include <à la barre pour le paino et danser>, the opera for children <Music Witch’s Magic Box> and <Variational Overture for Orchestra> commissioned by the Daejeon Philharmonic Orchestra. 
 Dr. Oh also has been writing essays and columns on music since 2012. Her college textbook <Musical Form and Analysis> was published in 2018. She is a professor at Hoseo University in S. Korea.

폴 스미스는 호주 뉴 잉글랜드 대학교에서 작곡 및 음악 이론을 가르치고 있으며 시드니에 본사를 둔 블러쉬 오페라 (Blush Opera)의 공동 예술 감독으로 웨스턴 시드니 대학교에서 창의 예술 박사 학위를 취득했다. 그는 토이 피아노를 위한 오페라와 음악 작곡 전문으로 애니메이션, 연극, 무용 등 다른 예술가들과 함께 음악을 위한 공동 작업을 자주 한다. 그의 실내악 오페라는 호주, 싱가포르 및 미국 전역의 축제에 참여하였으며 그의 새로운 작품 활동 중에 하나로  2020년 6월 초연 될 ‘촙 셰프’ (Chop Chef)라는 리얼리티 TV 음식 오디션프로그램을 기반으로 한 대규모의 새로운 오페라가 있다. 현재 호주 음악 센터의 어소시에이트 아티스트이다.

Paul Smith is a lecturer in music at the University of New England, Australia, where he teaches composition and music theory. He is co-artistic director of Blush Opera, based in Sydney, and holds a Doctorate of Creative Arts from Western Sydney University. Paul specialises in composing opera and music for toy piano and often works with other artists on collaborative works for music with animation, theatre and dance. His chamber operas have toured festivals across Australia, Singapore, and the US. Future works include a large-scale new opera based on reality tv food competitions, Chop Chef, which will premiere in June 2020. Paul is an associate artist with the Australian Music Centre.

스테이시 바렐로스 박사는 미국 네브라스카 주 오마하 출신의 작곡가이자 피아니스트이다. 그녀는 음악의 오마하 음악원 네브라스카-오마하 대학에서 가르치고 오마하 언더 레이더 축제의 교육 책임자로 활동 중이다. 허스트 텔레비전 "스티치" 프로그램 인 TEDx Omaha에 출연하기도 했으며 최근 OMAha Entertainment and Arts Award (OEAA)에 지명되었다. 그녀는 Luther College, Bowling Green State University와 University of Wisconsin-Madison에서 학위를 받았다.

Dr. Stacey Barelos is a composer and pianist from Omaha, Nebraska, USA.  She teaches at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, the Omaha Conservatory of Music and is the Education Director for the Omaha Under the Radar Festival.  She has been featured on TEDx Omaha, the Hearst Television “Stitch” program and was recently nominated for an Omaha Entertainment and Arts Award (OEAA).  She holds degrees from Luther College, Bowling Green State University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. 

뉴질랜드 출신 작곡가이자 피아니스트인 로스 제임스 케리는 2017 년부터 중국 허난성 신 정시아 대학교의 음악 및 드라마 학교에서 외국 교수로 재직했다. 그의 기악곡과 성악곡은 아시아 태평양 지역과 그 밖의 다른 지역에서 널리 연주되었으며 음악적 차용에 특별한 관심을 가지고 있어 33 피아노 솔로를위한 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star'(2014-16), 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star'의 콘서트 피스 '플루트 및 피아노 (2015), 2019 년 3월 크라이스트 처치 사원 두 곳에서 발생한 공격에 대한 대응책으로 루비 헌터의 추억으로 쓰여진 현악 사중주 (2010)를 위한 토카티나 (Elegy)를 포함하는 수 많은 기념 작품이 있다. Ross는 또한 시인 Fleur Adcock, Ruth Dallas, Janet Frame, Rabindranath Tagore 및 Oscar Wilde의 글을 사용했으며 소프라노 및 악기 앙상블을 위해 Kate Kelly Song Cycle에서 호주 작가 Merrill Findlay와 공동 작업했다 (2010-11).
 
Ross James Carey is a composer and solo and collaborative pianist. A native of New Zealand, since March 2017 Ross has been a foreign professor at the School of Music and Drama in Sias University, Xinzheng, Henan, China. Ross’s compositions for instruments and voice have been performed widely around the Asia-Pacific region and further afield. He has a special interest in musical quotation which has informed a number of recent works, including …infinite songs… 33 Variations on ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star’ for piano solo (2014-16), Concert Piece on ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star’ for flute and piano (2015) etc. Postlude for piano left hand (2019) was composed in response to the attacks at two Christchurch mosques in March 2019 and is the latest of a number of commemorative pieces which include Toccatina (Elegy) for string quartet (2010) written in memory of Ruby Hunter. Ross has also set words by poets Fleur Adcock, Ruth Dallas, Janet Frame, Rabindranath Tagore and Oscar Wilde, and has collaborated with Australian writer Merrill Findlay on The Kate Kelly Song Cycle for soprano and instrumental ensemble (2010-11). 

맷츠 오 한슨 (1960)은 스웨덴의 예테보리 음악 대학에서 작곡을 전공했으며 앙상블과 솔로이스트를 위한 실내악을 위한 작품을 쓸 뿐 만 아니라 무대와 영화 및 사운드 및 비디오 아트를 위한 곡들도 작곡한다. 스웨덴 뿐 아니라 그의 음악은 덴마크, 영국, 독일, 이탈리아, 그리스, 폴란드, 아르헨티나 및 미국에서도 공연되었다. 현재 국제 현대 음악 학회 회원이면서 스웨덴 현대음악축제인 Kalv Festival의 창립멤버이기도 하다.

Mats O Hansson (1960) has an MFA in composition from the University of Music in Gothenburg, Sweden. Composes mainly chamber music for ensembles and soloists, but also music for stage and film as well as sound and video art. Beside Sweden, his music has also been performed in Denmark, England, Germany, Italy, Greece, Poland, Argentina and USA. Member of the International Society for Contemporary Music.

리 따오는 중국 출신의 작곡가이자 피아니스트이며 중국 전통 문화는 그녀의 음악에 큰 영향을 끼쳤다. 그녀는 고대 중국 이데올로기를 현대 서양 기술과 결합하여 자신 만의 독특한 음악 언어를 만들어내는 작업을 한다. Tao의 음악은 Fifth House, Implosion Percussion과 같은 앙상블과 WOCMAT 2015/17 Taiwan, Bayou 2016/17/18 (LA)의 New Music, Kyiv Contemporary 등 아시아, 유럽 및 북미 전역의 음악 축제에서 연주되었다. 그녀는 작곡가, 연주자 및 악기 간의 내부 연결에 깊은 관심을 가지고 있으며 두 가지 이상 분야의 연주자인 Tao는 피아니스트, 타악기 연주자 및 지휘자로 콘서트 및 음악 축제에서 클래식 및 현대 음악 연주에 활발히 활동하고 있다.
 
LI Tao is a composer and pianist from China. Chinese traditional culture profoundly influences her music. She uses ancient Chinese ideology combined with contemporary Western techniques to create her own distinct musical language. Tao's music has been performed by ensembles such as Fifth House, Implosion Percussion and at music festivals throughout Asia, Europe and North America. She maintains a deep interest in the inner connections between composer, performer and instrument. As an interdisciplinary performer, Tao is actively performing both classical and contemporary music in concerts and music festivals as pianist, percussionist, and conductor.
 

작곡가이자 피아니스트인 제레드 레드몬드는 서양악기와 한국 전통악기를 접목한 현대음악그룹 ‘거리(距離)’의 예술감독이다. 그 밖에도 비헤디드(머리)라는 자유 즉흥 듀오와 보스턴에 기반을 둔 실험 음악 앙상블인 Ehnahre에서 피아노를 맡고 있다. 제레드는 피아니스트로서 전 세계 작곡가들의 음악을 초연하였다. 그의 레퍼토리는 16세기부터 21세기에까지 걸쳐 펼쳐진다. 제레드가 작곡한 작품들은 프랑스, 벨기에, 독일, 한국, 일본, 북미에서 연주되었다. 브랜다이스 대학, 매사추세츠 공과대학교 (M.I.T.)에서 음악을 가르쳤으며, 현재는 한양대학교에서 객원교수로 재직 중이다. 

Composer-pianist Jared Redmond is artistic director of contemporary music ensemble Geori (Seoul), which mixes Korean traditional and Western classical instruments. He is also pianist in free improvisation duo ‘Beheaded’ (Seoul) and experimental music collective Ehnahre (Boston/LA). As a pianist, Jared has premiered pieces written for him by composers from around the world, and given Asian premieres by major composers like Michael Finnissy and Steven Kazuo Takasugi. His repertoire spans from the 16th to 21st centuries, and his own compositions have been performed in France, Belgium, Germany, Korea, Japan, and North America. Jared has taught at Brandeis University and M.I.T. He is currently Visiting Professor of Composition at Hanyang University.  

세 번의 노벨상 후보였던 시인 Yevgeny Yevtushenko는“가장 빠르게 타오르는 젊은 작곡가”라고 그를 묘사한다. 벤자민 부캐넌은 볼티모어 기반의 장난감 피아니스트, 작곡가 및 공연 예술가이고 그의 음악은 헝가리, 이탈리아, 스웨덴, 아이티 및 미국 전역에서 연주되었다. 열렬한 토이 피아니스트 인 벤자민은 토이 피아노 앤 프렌즈를 위한 협주곡을 썼으며, 올 해는  Music as Play 국제 토이 피아노 페스티벌에서 작곡가로 선정되었다. 2018년 12월 그는 볼티모어 국립 공공 라디오 방송국(WYPR) 에서 장난감 피아니스트로 라디오 데뷔를 했다.
현재 St. John 's Episcopal Church에서 음악 감독으로 일하고 있으며 Western Run Parish에서 밸리 음악 시리즈 외에 Port-au-Prince에 있는 Les Petite Chanteurs 어린이 합창단과 함께 일하고 있다. 볼티모어와 워싱턴 D.C. 지역에서 오르간 연주자, 피아니스트, 토이 피아니스트로 활동 중이다.
 
Described by the three-time Nobel prize nominated poet, Yevgeny Yevtushenko, as a “most quickly enflaming young composer,” Benjamin Buchanan (b. 1989) is a Baltimore based toy pianist, composer, and performance artist. His music has received performances in Hungary, Italy, Sweden, Haiti, and throughout the United States. 
An ardent toy pianist, Benjamin wrote a Concertoish for Toy Piano & Friends that was heralded as “wryly titled” (Tim Smith, The Baltimore Sun) and this year alone has been a featured composer at the 2019 Music as Play international toy piano festival in Como, Italy. In December 2018 he made his radio debut as a toy pianist on the Baltimore National Public Radio Station: WYPR. 
Benjamin holds Master of Music degrees in Music Composition and Music Theory Pedagogy from the Peabody Conservatory where he studied under Michael Hersch. Benjamin serves as Organist - Music Director at St. John's Episcopal Church - Western Run Parish where he also runs the Music in the Valley concert series and regularly works with the Les Petite Chanteurs children’s choir of Holy Trinity Music School in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He may be seen performing throughout the Baltimore and Washington D.C. areas as an organist, pianist, and (most importantly) toy pianist.

권성연(1970)은 한국의 연세대학교 기악과와 미국 University of Southern California에서 에서 피아노를 전공하고 피아니스트로써 연주활동과 후학을 가르쳤으며, 2010년 TV 드라마 ‘신의 퀴즈’ season 1에서 음악감독을 맡으며 작곡가로서의 활동을 시작하였다.  그 후, 영화와 연극무대, 클래식 앙상블과 가곡, 드라마 주제가 등 여러가지 쟝르를 위하여 곡을 쓰고 있다. 

Sungyeon Kwon(1970) studied piano and music at Yonsei University, Korea, and the University of Southern California, USA.  She was a pianist and also taught students at university. In 2010, she started her career as a composer, directing music in the soap opera ‘Gods Quiz. She then writes for a variety of genres, including movies, theater, classical ensembles, and pop.

카를하인즈 에슬은 오스트리아의 작곡자, 연주자, 즉흥연주자, 미디어아티스트 그리고 작곡과 교수이다. 비엔나에서 작곡 공부를 하였고 더블베이스연주자로 실험적 재즈밴드 실내악단으로 연주 활동도 하였다. 다양한 활동을 거치며 1997년 잘즈부르크 페스티벌에서 주요 작곡자로 떠오른 이후 현재 전 세계에서 그의 작품이 연주되고 있다. 2007년부터 비엔나 composition and electro-acoustic music at the University of Music and Performing Arts 대학에서 교수로 재직 중인 그는 기악곡 작곡 외에 전자음악, 대화형 실시간 작곡 및 사운드 설치분야의 작업도 하고 있으며 알고리즘 구성 및 라이브 전자제품을 위한 소프트웨어 환경을 개발하고 있다.
 
Karlheinz Essl(b. 1960) is an Austrian composer, performer, improviser, media artist and composition teacher. 
He studied composition in Vienna with Friedrich Cerha and completed his studies in musicology with a doctoral thesis on Anton Webern. As a double bassist, he played in chamber ensembles and experimental jazz bands.
Essl was composer-in-residence at the Darmstadt Summer School (1990-94) and at IRCAM in Paris (1991-93). Between 1995-2006 he taught Algorithmic Composition at the Bruckner University in Linz. Since 2007, he has been professor of composition and electro-acoustic music at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
 His work with computers and a long-term preoccupation with the poetics of serial music have been formative influences on his compositional thinking. During the 1990s he carried out various projects for the internet and became increasingly involved with improvisation. In 1997, Karlheinz Essl was a featured composer at the Salzburg Festival. His compositions are now played all over the world.
Besides writing instrumental music, Karlheinz Essl also works in the areas of electronic music, interactive real-time compositions and sound installations. He develops software environments for algorithmic composition and live electronics.
